Michael Williams

President and Director

Michael Williams is co-founder of McLeod Williams Capital Corp., a Vancouver based venture capital firm that specializes in the structuring, financing and managing of junior exploration companies and bringing their projects through to development.

Williams’ previous experience includes positions as Vice President of Atna Resources from 1996-2004 and as Chairman of Underworld Resources which was acquired by Kinross Gold Corp. for $138M in March of 2010. In addition, Williams has many years of experiences in providing public relations counsel to various sectors including: mining, manufacturing, financial services, hospitality and tourism.

Williams has significant contacts with both retail and institutional investors and has an extensive banking network.

Rob McLeod

CEO, VP Exploration and Director

Robert McLeod is a highly technical, creative and innovative exploration geologist. He has over 17 years of post-graduate experience in mining and mineral exploration, working for a variety of major and junior mining companies. Through his experience working with these companies, McLeod has developed a strong set of managerial skills, including budgeting, planning and supervision of large and small exploration and mine development projects.

McLeod’s technical skills include advanced GIS and 3D geologic modeling, grade-block modeling and resource calculation, mine design and geostatistics, lithogeochemical and structural studies, as well as project generation and property evaluation. His exploration strategy is a multitiered approach, including; conceptual geologic ideas with prospecting, early-stage project advancement focusing on discovery, and advancing mid-stage projects towards feasibility.

The majority of McLeod’s exploration experience has been in Alaska, Yukon and Nunavut. As VP Exploration for Underworld Resources, he identified the potential of the White gold Property in the Yukon, and led the discovery team for the Golden Saddle Zone. Underworld was acquired by Kinross Gold in May 2010. As an exploration geologist and project manager at Miramar’s Hope Bay project, he was part of the team that discovered the Naartok deposit, as well as expanding and delineating the Boston and Doris deposits. He was previously Vice President of Exploration for Atna Resources Ltd., a junior company exploring for gold in Nevada, and base metals in the Yukon. Mr. McLeod is currently a director for Keegan Resources, Revolution Resources, Silver Quest Resources and Gold Standard Ventures.

McLeod obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Economic Geology from the University of British Columbia in 1993 and graduated from Queens University, Masters in Geology, Mineral Exploration Program in 1998. He is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists, member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC, Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, Alaska Miners Association and the AMEBC. He is a member of Doug Casey’s Nexten Top 10 list of young mining entrepreneurs.

Carl Hering

Director

Carl Hering is a geologist with over 35 years of diversified technical and managerial experience in mineral exploration and corporate development worldwide.  Dr. Hering was instrumental in two major gold discoveries in Latin America, each exceeding 3 million ounces.  Recently, as Director and Technical Advisor, he oversaw exploration at Hammond Reef, Ontario with Brett Resources, culminating in the sale of Brett in 2010 to Osisko Mining after 6.7Moz Au resource established.  He has experience in all aspects of exploration from generative to advanced projects, negotiations, acquisition evaluation, mine and corporate valuation, management, strategic planning and new program design and implementation.   Dr. Hering has worked for numerous companies as an independent consultant and held senior positions at Noranda, Placer Dome Inc., Bema Gold Corporation and Rio Narcea Gold Mines.  He is currently a Director of four other public companies.

Tony Cange

Director

Tony Cange is the President of Aleut Commercial Real Estate, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Aleut Corporation, one of the 13 Alaska Native regional corporations formed under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). Aleut Commercial Real Estate manages the lands, resources and real estate of the Aleut Corporation and pursues responsible economic development opportunities.

Darryl Cardey

Director

Darryl Cardey is a partner with CDM Capital Partners, a private company focused on venture capital financing and investments. He holds a Chartered Accountant’s degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in British Columbia and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Cardey has been involved in the mining industry for several years and is co-founder of a number of successful ventures, including Underworld Resources (bought by Kinross March 2010), Crazy Horse Resources (where he is also Chief Financial Officer), and Prosperity Goldfields.

Cale Moodie

CFO

Mr. Moodie’s career in public markets spans over a decade; he previously worked for KPMG LLP’s Vancouver Industrial Markets Group, with an emphasis on the audit of mining and resource-based companies. Cale is also currently the CFO and director of Brixton Metals Corp. (TSX-V: BBB). He acted as the CFO of Underworld Resources Inc. until its sale to Kinross Gold Corporation in June of 2010. Cale is a member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Jodie Gibson

Chief Geologist

Jodie Gibson is an innovative exploration geologist with strong technical and managerial skills, and has mineral exploration experience in various tectonic and orogenic environments throughout North America. Most of his work to date has focused in Alaska and the Yukon, the south eastern US, and Greenland; with an emphasis on intrusion-related gold, base metal, and porphyry copper exploration. In the capacity of Senior Geologist and Project Manager he was part of the Underworld Resources team that discovered and defined the Golden Saddle and Arc deposits in the Yukon. Following Underworld’s acquisition by Kinross in May 2010, Gibson has worked as Project Manager on Full Metal Minerals/Antofagasta Minerals Pyramid Cu-Mo-Au porphyry discovery in Alaska, and has been an integral team member in Revolution Resources’ recent Champion Hills gold discovery in North Carolina. Gibson is also currently the Vice President Exploration of Full Metal Zinc.
